Although ABA therapy is not universally covered at this time, our country continues to make significant progress in recognizing the importance of providing coverage for ABA therapy. Active military are eligible to participate in the Tricare Autism Demonstration Project, of which Stepping Stones ABA is a proud partner. North Carolina state employees are now able to apply for up to $36,000 in annual benefits for ABA treatment. Several large corporations, such as Microsoft, IBM and Cisco now offer coverage for autism treatment.
Particularly if you work for a large corporation, we encourage you to make an appointment with your benefits administrator to learn about potential for ABA coverage. More and more businesses are offering benefits all the time.
